Service Overview
Our major target group are children and young people aged between 6 and 30 and
their families, particular attention is drawn to those with personal
developmental needs and special needs arising from various disadvantaged
circumstances or those who are facing new life challenges or difficulties. Our
centre has implemented 16 Service Quality Standards designed by the Social
Welfare Department. The Centre aims not only to facilitate them to explore their
potentials and develop well-balanced personal development, but also to encourage
them to learn how "to serve and not to be served". In the 21st Century, the
needs of youths are changing dramatically. Our centre provides innovative and
quality activities and services for the users. Examples are tutorials, social
and development activities, volunteer services, case management, uniform groups,
career counseling, community education and exchange programmes. These provide
opportunities of social, educational, cultural and physical development for
young people. The future plan of the centre is to focus on recruiting more
Parent members and further develop the "partnership" with schools in the local
district. We hope our services could enrich our new generations to become happy,
mature, responsible and enlightening others to actualise their lives.
