Introduction
Our school was founded in September, 1978. Mr. Yip Hon, a renowned philanthropist in Hong Kong and Macau, donated one million HK dollars for installing the facilities in the school in memory of his father Mr. Yip Kei Nam. As a gesture of gratitude the school is named after him. In 1981, Mr. Yip Hon donated two hundred thousand HK dollars to establish the ．Mr. Yip Hon Scholarship・. In 2008, Mrs. Yip Yu Lai Ching donated four million HK dollars to establish the ．Mr. Yip Kwai Education Fund・.

New Senior Secondary Curriculum
Small group teaching (6 groups from 5 classes) was adopted in the NSS curriculum. Besides the 4 core subjects, students can select two to three electives from a total of 14 subjects. The maximum number of electives combination is 150.
