School & Students Outstanding Performances

1. The overall passing rate of students in the HKCEE (in five subjects or above) and AL Exam (minimum requirements for admission to tertiary institutions) was about 10% higher than that of the territory-wide average.

2. Champion and the Best Speaker in the Joint School Chinese Language Debate Contest 2009 by Heung Hoi Ching Kok Lin Association.

3. Bronze medal in the 1st Hong Kong Mathematics Creative Problem Solving Competition for Secondary Schools (2008-2009) by the Hong Kong Education Bureau Gifted Education Section.

4. Gold medal in the 5th Hong Kong and Macau Youth Skills Competition Network (Secondary school section) by the Association of I.T. Leaders in Education.

5. In the 61st Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, First Runner-up in Er Wu solo (Intermediate and advanced sections); Second Runner-up in Er Wu solo (Elementary section) together with 12 Certificates of Merit and 24 Certificates of Proficiency.

6. One Outstanding Student Award in the 1st Sham Shui Po District Outstanding Students Election.

7. District Gold Medal (Sham Shui Po) in Greening for the Chest: Cleaning for Charity (2008-2009) by the Community Youth Club.

8. The Best School Team (Champion) in the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol Outstanding Team Member Election (2009).

9. One student selected to join the "Young Astronaut Training Camp" in Beijing by the Hong Kong Space Museum.
