Brief History
Buddhist Ho Poon Yuet Ping Cultural and Service Centre for the Elderly started its services on 1 June 1996. We are grateful to our contributor Mr. Ho Kwok Wing (Danny) who generously donated one million and five hundred thousand HK dollars to the centre for installation. We named the centre 'Ho Poon Yuet Ping' to commemorate his grandmother. Due to the trend of elderly service development, the funding mode of the centre will be changed from government-subvention to self-financed from 1 April 2003.
