Brief History
Buddhist Ching Hang Neighbourhood Elderly Centre was founded by The Hong Kong Buddhist Association in 1995.The centre received a honorable donation from Ms. Shum Chiong Yen who donated HKD 800,000 to fund the centre opening and it furniture & fittings.With the respectful to the desire of Ms. Shum, the centre nominated as "Ching Hang" which is a Chinese word describing people should live in the right direction. That is, people should bring up with the positive thinking and living attitude, contribute to the community, and participate the various activities in order to fulfill their prosperous retirement life.
The centre was revamped from the social centre for the elderly and being operated since 1st April 2003.
Service Overview
After the revamp, our centre now operates six days a week and offers a wide range of programmes and services as listed below:

4. Personal consultation and counselling service
5. Voluntary service and training programme
6. Community resources referral service
7. Carer support service
8. Mini-canteen service
9. Caring service for frail elderly
