Introduction
Nursery provide a well environment to enable every person to attain all-round
development in the domains of ethics, intellect, physique, social skills and
aesthetics according to their own attributes, so that they are capable of
life-long learning, critical and exploratory thinking, innovating and adapting
to change. Our nursery provides a full-day class of children between 2 to 6 and
the capacity of nursery is 112.Additional services of nursery are occasional
Child Care Service and Integrated Programme in Kindergarten-cum-Child Care
Centre for needs.
Goal
Since early childhood education is the foundation for whole person development
and life-long learning, the goals of our nursery are nurture children to attain
all-round development in the domains of ethics, intellect, physique, social
skills and aesthetics, and to develop good habits, so as to prepare them for
life; and stimulate childrenˇ¦s interest in learning and cultivate in them
positive learning attitudes, in order to lay the foundation for their future
learning.
Types of services

Kindergarten-cum-Child Care Centre: provides care and education services to
children between the age of 2 to 6 years

Occasional Child Care Service: provides full-day, half-day or two-hour sessions
in some child care centres for children whose carers are unable to take care of
them occasionally due to various commitments or sudden engagements.
(Opening hour for the above services is from 8:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. (Monday to
Friday) and from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. on Saturday. Parents may make
applications for child care services at their preferred child care centres
directly during office hours.)

Integrated Programme in Kindergarten-cum-Child Care Centre: It provides training
and care to mildly disabled pre-schoolers in an ordinary child care centre with
a view to facilitating their future integration into the mainstream education as
well as in the society. For those Children aged two to six who are either mildly
mentally handicapped, slightly physically handicapped and without serious
mobility problem, mildly or moderately auditorily impaired, mildly or moderately
visually impaired and autistic. Referrals can be made by social workers or staff
of rehabilitation service units to the Central Referral System for
Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department
